Goals Include:
- Accurate assessment and diagnosis of Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD)
- Parent Education on ARFID and positive feeding strategies to use in everyday life
- Teaching children to learn to try new foods without anxiety, identify their own preferences, and increasing their food repertoire
- Providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children with food-related anxiety
- Helping improve social interactions around food
My Specialties Include:
- Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD), though working on oral motor skills is outside my scope of practice.
- Children with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorders and other genetic disorders
- Food related anxiety concerns interfering with daily life and social interactions
- Gastrointestinal disorders (reflux, constipation, and eosinophilic esophagitis)
- Food allergies (phobias or obsessive-compulsive behaviors associated with allergic events or foods, both experienced and perceived
- Choking events resulting in significant decrease in oral intake, weight, and/or nutrition
Additional Information:
- Assessment and therapy sessions cost $125 per session, and are required at the time of sessions
- I do not take insurance, but will provide you with invoices to submit to your insurance
- Recommend 12-18 therapy sessions to develop strategies that work at home
- Family therapy require that parents and children participate in sessions
- Sessions take place via Zoom
- Families will receive handouts, parent education curriculum, and activities to practice at home
- Families are expected to practice in between therapy sessions

As of September 1st, 2024 I will be accepting the following insurance carriers: Aetna and Cigna and their affiliates.
Family self-pay fees are $125 per session.
